Icelandic lichen 100g
Description
Package contents: 50g
Composition: 1 g of the product contains 1 g of Cetraria islandica (L.) Acharius s.l. (Icelandic lichen).
Indications for use: As an aid in cough caused by irritation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Icelandic lichen. Due to the lack of safety data, the use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended.
Special warnings and precautions: If symptoms worsen or persist, see your doctor. In the event of fever, dyspnoea or the appearance of purulent sputum, consult a physician. Interactions: None known. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: No safety data are available, therefore the use is not recommended. Effects on ability to drive and use machines: No studies on the effects of this medicinal product on driving and using machines have been performed.
Dosage, method of use and administration route: Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 2 tablespoons of Icelandic lichen (4.0 g) pour 1½ glass (300 ml) of water, boil for 15 minutes, strain. Drink a glass of decoction twice a day, always use fresh decoction.
Overdose: No reports have been reported so far. Procedure in the event of a missed dose: Do not use a double dose of the drug to make up for a missed dose. In order to obtain information about the use of the medicinal product, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Adverse reactions: So far not reported. Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
