DESCRIPTION: BENNET - GIFTS OF NATURE - contains tannins, essential oils, valuable flavonoids and organic acids. It has an astringent effect, is used in diarrhea, catarrh of the large intestine and hemorrhoids. You can add it to your dishes instead of cinnamon and cloves. The root as a herbal raw material is obtained mainly from the common cuckoo (also from the pendulous cuckoo), a perennial plant belonging to the rose family, found in North Africa, Asia, Europe, and as a species also introduced in Australia and New Zealand. In Poland, it is common throughout the lowlands and in the lower mountain locations, it can be found in forests, riparian forests and shady orchards. Bennet rhizome is red-brown, conical, with a bitter taste and smell similar to cloves, and is also used to flavor some types of liqueurs and beers.

ACTION: anti-diarrheal, tonic, astringent and antiseptic in diseases of the stomach and malaria, small and large intestine, in diarrhea of various origins, and it acts as a cholagogue and stimulates digestion and bile secretion. Used for rinsing the mouth - the mouthwash has anti-inflammatory and haemotoxic properties in parodontosis and pharyngitis and oral cavity inflammation, and also inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi responsible for the formation of unpleasant mouth odor and thrush.

METHOD OF PREPARATION: Detailed description of the preparation on the package, usually pour 1 tablespoon of herb with a glass of water, cook for 10 minutes, leave for 20 minutes, covered, drain.
