What to look for when buying colloids? Standard colloidsThe shape of the nanoparticle - and therefore the actual maximum active surface area. This is probably the first and most important difference between Vitacolloids products and other silver or gold colloids available on the market. Colloids from other companies have nanoparticles in a shape similar to a ball (spherical). The surface area declared by the manufacturers will be comparable to Vitacolloid colloids, but its actual active surface area is incomparably smaller. Spherical particles, i.e. in the shape of a ball, actually have one point of contact on the place on which they are applied. As you can see in the above figure, the actual contact surface of these colloids is very small.

The particle behaves like a sheet of paper placed on a table, which adheres to the place on which it is to act with its entire surface.
