agave syrup is not recommended as a substitute for regular sugar, due to its low glycemic index. Diabetics can eat it. The taste is softer than maple syrup and honey. BIO agave syrup you use less than traditional sugar, because it is almost 1.5 times more sweet. It contains natural enzymes, vitamins and minerals and fiber and inulin. Agave syrup contains calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron. Agave is grown for hundreds of years, mostly in South and Central America. It has a fleshy and thick leaves arranged in a rosette, covered with sharp spines. The product comes from organic farming.
